Interesting – My own interest in the ECW began through a local connection as I worked in the Newarke in Leicester which was stormed by the Royalists in 1645. Oddly I now work within sight of the walls of York which were stormed by the Parliamentarians the year before. However. I have never got around to gaming either action- maybe next year…

Late to the party but only just seen this.

I am a descendant of Colonel Bolle on my Mothers side.

It was this that got me into ECW wargaming.
