I wanted to say thank you to the Peter Pig team for processing my order, with last minute additions, quickly despite mine and the pandemics efforts to make things difficult. Just two days from my additional order to dispatch which in these uncertain times is terrific.

Thank you and best wishes,
Martin

Nothing but the best service from PP. I've been a customer for over 20 years now.

+1 Peter Pig. Got an order across the pond to me in about 10 days from order to arrival. A pleasure to deal with!

Thank you for the support.
We are doing shifts of 1 person per day.
Mostly me!
Overseas orders are now stopped, due to a notice from the post office.

Once again thanks for the support.
We have had some abuse for carrying on, but then folk have a lot of spare time?

Hi Martin

Is this a notice from your local post office ?

I have checked the Royal Mail site and they are still delivering international orders but with delays.

Maybe I'll need to check with my local PO.

Hello Tony
It is a message addressed to all "click and drop" business users of the royal Mail.
It was sent by the Royal Mail today.
Of course in the current confusion it might be totally wrong.
Your contacts might be better. I know not.
Apologies if I have it all wrong.

I will try to get more info and post it here.

Hi Martin

Thanks for that, it may just apply to that service (which I don't use). My info came from the RM website but that may not have been updated yet. There have been updates posted there today, but not about international mail.

Martin,

Just looked at Royal Mail site. Updated on 27 Mar and still says international to US is still operational.

I was readying another order but will hold off until I got more info from you.

I'm in Australia. Parcels from the UK now go via New York to get here because air flights from Europe have virtually ceased.

We would really welcome any orders, but we must not just "sit" on your money and not post stuff out to you. That is not fair.

At this time please hang on to your order for a few days until the Royal Mail says more.

Difficult times.

I posted out to Australia on Friday. Parcel was accepted, I was told there would be delays which is expected in the situation. I do have a parcel for Belgium waiting to go, so I will check tomorrow. If its right I will refund the paypal payment and the customer can request a new invoice when this is over. As Martin says It's not right to sit on somebody's money, they could be in need of it later.

Just checked the Royal mail website. If you follow the coronavirus update link then click on the international service bulletin in related link box, there is a list of countries and if they are suspended. Hope this helps.
