I had to take some time off for other projects, but I've made some progress. I am hold up with most of the parts I need to finish a pair of these. The plastic grid used for light diffusing has worked very well as a basic structure. The idea is a heavy lift in atmosphere lander for heavy logistics. It will be lightly armed and armored. The scale I'm building is 15mm, but obviously it can be scaled up or down. The detail parts are from Airfix WW1 tanks and Airfix pontoon bridges.

I should be putting the rest of the decks on today. Then I'll be putting WW1 tank sponsons |

What color should I paint it? |

I gunned up the barge. I used sponsons from 1/76 scale Airfix WW1 Mk I tanks. Since the scale of the model is 1/100 I can say the guns are upsized, 12 pdrs instead 6 pdrs and 2 pdr pom-poms instead of rifle-caliber machine guns. Next onto detailing!
