I am looking for something where a player can run a small group of mixed type figures, where the rules can handle multiple factions on the table at the same time, might include some of the magical/mythical elements, and provide a game over a few hours. Thinking something like a multi-player game in which each player has their own motivations, at a con setting, where the game can move along quickly, and the players can quickly absorb the basic rules concepts. Thanks! |

Taiko! has a skirmish version that will suit the bill. No magic rules but it does include special rules for Ninja. link |

Ah, and looks like you sell hard copy versions at your store as well. Very good! |

For now….once we sell out we will not be reprinting. But we have a decent supply yet. |

I really like the combat system in "Ronin" (Osprey). John |

Test of Honour ticks all those boxes except the magic, which would be easy to add. |

Daisho from The Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare should work. It already has the magic aspect: link |

Tribal from Manna Games would fit the bill, or else their slightly more modern version, Brutal. |

Another recommendation for Ronin. There is a mythical addition to the rules online on the Osprey site. |

Ronin and Test of Honour… both excellent systems. Magic would be easy to add on to them. |

Our club has been playing Test of Honor and enjoying it very much. Did a number of Seven Samurai based games. Check out the Facebook Page link |

So many offerings seem to cover what I seek. I have ordered Daisho for starters. Thanks all! |
