Very interesting.

Interesting to see the amount of Lend-Lease tonnage that flowed right past the Japanese throughout the war. Must have been a major annoyance to ol' Adolf!

Also interesting to see how large the flow to the Soviets was right up through August of 1945, when their declaration of war against Japan meant Russian shipping was no longer "neutral" and entitled to safe passage through Japanese waters. Another indicator that those who thought we dropped the A-bomb on Hiroshima as a way of scaring the Soviets off, are stuck seeing WW2 through Cold War lenses. Right up until August 8 American policy was focused on trying to get the Russians INTO the war against Japan, not scare them away from it.
