Turgut Reis was a former German battleship (SMS Weissenburg) that was purchased by the Ottoman navy in 1910. She provided naval gunfire support for the Ottoman amphibious assault at Şarköy in 1913, just north of Gallipoli. This photo illustrates the WTJ 1/1250 model of the Brandenburg Class battlehip:

Hi Robert,

Can we hope to see you extending from your splendid WWI repertoire and treating us to some beautiful Balkan Wars games?

Hi Chris,

The Battles of Şarköy and Bulair will feature in the upcoming Great War Spearhead Gallipoli supplement. Other battles have been researched but are sitting on the shelf for now.

Robert
