Hello, need Ships like Graf Zeppelin and Montana etc I want a small Scale like 1:3000, 1:4800 or 1:6000. 1:6000 i prefer, many Paper Projects. But the Price!!! Navwar with 1:3000 has Paper Projects, but not so many like Figureheads? Which is better for Detail and Price? Knows anyone good Rules for Paper Projects with good Detail? |

I play in 1:6000 with the General Quarters 3 rules. I really like the detail on the 1:6000 ships, and when you can get a flotilla of destroyers or every vessel in a capital ship class in a single pack for <$10, the price is fantastic! Figurehead do many of the more common paper ships themselves, including Graf Zeppelin and most of the Z-Plan as well as a number of interwar designs that were never or only partially built. They even have a to-scale Habakkuk! You'll still need to scratchbuild or use Shapeways for a couple of exotic ships like BB/CV hybrids or the paper ships of more minor nations, but all-in-all their range is incredibly comprehensive! As for rules, I prefer GQ3's level of detail, which keeps peer-to-peer engagements straightforward to play while still reflecting the vast differences in capabilities between types of ships. As a bonus for you since you're interested in never-built ships, the game stats are relatively simply derived from the ship's armament and armor thickness, so you can fill in any gaps between their published material fairly easily. |

I have 1/2400 resin ships from Panzerschiffe – they do lots of projected or abandoned ships from Ww2. |
