yes incredible skill of workmanship and displaying luxury, not only carriages but also a political statement.

These I had not seen. There is a number of parade carriages from the Napoleonic era preserved, but it is not a large number! Anything post 1850s is the rule. You do not often see the C spring suspension shown here. Great stuff

What is very rare is the "everyday" bog standard carriage of our era. For obvious reasons these never did get to museums and collections
