I build some strips of elephant grass to add to the elefantgrass I already have. I made them in the same way as the rest.

and on the gaming table:

Love the second photo above, but best of all is the one of the whole village as on the website linked.

Some really useful comments added as to how to "equip" a typical SE Asian village like this. Of course what we all want to see is the Empress AA gun manned by the NVA girls….shortly before the napalm strike of course. Cannot help but wish them ill, but they do make great figures in the catalogue.

Great looking terrain…

Have to ask though….I want to make scrub for desert terrain. Has anyone had experience with spraying aquarium products?

Or does anyone know where I can get brownish grasses?

thanks,

Dave

@PzGeneral I've seen paintbrush hairs used as brown clumps of grass for rivers and ponds but nothing like elephant grass.

Woodland scenic also do a brown grass for clumps but that's much more expensive than the paintbrush solution.

You can paint aquarium plants with an airbrush . I tint them with a brown wash through my airbrush to take of the shine and let them look more natural. Have a closer look at the plants in the picture below.

Really nice work! I think you have posted elsewhere but what is the base product for the elephant grass?

Don't know where to start. The elephant grass looks great.
The ville….well, is beyond words. Great work. Sorry to be late in posting. Don't get online every day.
