I have been improving my massive Hive Terrain. The basic material was foam. I use boards, spray foam and een small styrofoam coolers. I never liked that there were too many sharp edges. I had textured with stone textured spray paint.

I started by getting a set of hot wire cutters. This allowed me to get shapes made much more quickly.

The new shapes are far less "square"

I'll be using latex paint this time aroudn, with PVA sealant and possibly some sand for texturing.

Thoughts anyone?

The pictures didn't load for me but I saw them on deviant art, perhaps that's why they didn't show. Certainly no square edges but I don't see how it goes together?

I see them being like compass termite nests. The might be side by side or seperated by a distance
