Does anyone make these? In a quick search it looks like Warlord is a lot of WWII figures being repurposed for Korea. Marines look suitably hot not freezinng up near Chosin Reservior! Thanks! Sam- you will note I am interested in this period now! ;-) |

Main thing to look for is that heavy knee length parka. With the right paint job, you could use WW2 ETO figures with field jackets. That jacket was commonplace as was a slightly different version of the WWII HBTs. I have only seen conversions, and they are plastic, but IMEX used to do a Korean War line, both US and North Koreans and Chinese. Those are 20mm or 1/72. |

Thanks Sam. I've not decided if I want to do 20mm or 28mm for sure. Leaning 28mm but may depend on availability and if I decide 1:1 or squad based elements. |

I am also researching this. I am considering a "Last Stand of Fox Company" diorama and the USMC specific 28mm figures I have found are all WW2 and not dressed for winter. I am considering the Warlord winter army figures and then just painting them (e.g., the helmets) like Marines. |
