3mm seems too small. I have a collection of 6mm Napoleonics. If I were to game with 6mm, I wouldn't need as much space but the trade off is that you lose a lot of detail. I much prefer my 15 and 18mm Napoleonic miniatures. I'm currently working on a 28mm Chu Kingdom warring states army and the contrast between these figures and my 15mm Warring States collection is huge. In the end I guess it depends upon what your priorities are. I like painting and prefer 28mm miniatures. If you want a large scale battle but have limited space and budget, then 3mm might be the way to go. |

They're cute, but you'll barely see them during a game. I don't think I'd want to go smaller than 6mm. |
