I finished my Germans for WaT, Battle of France 1940. Ran at TotalCon, will run at HAVOC and hopefully HUZZAH link |

Have fun, those puny guns will ensure more than a few turns play before anyone dies! We did France 1940 at our club some weeks ago, looked pretty! Your models are lovely, well done! |

We really like doing early war periods with What a Tanker. As Herkybird says, the lower values on the guns mean fewer brew ups, at least when tanks are engaging front to front. We see a lot more maneuvering for the flank shot as that drastically increases your chances for an effective shot. We also see a lot of wild command dice horded for extra strike dice :) Our last WaT game was France 1940. The Germans were feeling the pain with at least half of their vehicles being Panzer IIs against SOUMA S35s. The French were feeling the pain as we saddled them with a scenario rule to reflect the overworked commanders of the 3e DLMs SOUMAs (most of them fought with only 2 man crews). |
