From Flower to Sapling?

Can a plastic flower become a wargaming shrub? Or maybe a small tree?

Will be in the big apple in several weeks for 3 days. Any good shops to visit? I know of the Compleate Strategist and will visit. Any shops cater to historical miniatures?

thanks

Joe

The Strategist might be all that is left in NYC.

Enjoy your trip.

I was afraid of that. It is the same in London; one store. Sad but I understand as it would be hard to keep much stock on hand and make a go of it.
Thanks. Will report back.

Complete Strategist is about it aside of a few random comic shops that have D&D / Magic/ Pokemon stuff. I live here its a damn wasteland. If you have a car Maplewood Hobbies in Mapelwood NJ has a decent selection. its about 25 min west of Manhattan

+1 for Maplewood Hobbies.

Great store; great ownership and staff.

On Saturdays, they host multiple games. Feel free to stop by and say hello.

Enjoy your trip.

P.S.--If you like AWI history, stop by Fraunces Tavern downtown for lunch, drinks or dinner. They have an attached museum.

Speaking of museums, if you have a car, West Point (and its museum) is about 45 minutes North of Manhattan. Worth the trip, including eating at the Thayer Hotel on campus. They have a great Sunday brunch.

If you don't have a car, there are also bus tours available.
