A March Forward!
A Howdy Ya'll and welcome to the March 2020 edition of the Big Muddy E-Newsletter. The days are getting longer, daylight savings time arrives along with historical events and gaming opportunities.
We had a great turnout for Wargames at Weldon on President's Day Weekend. Our Sincere Thanks to Terry for getting this together and all the GMs who ran some spectacular games. The Interpretive Center at Weldon Springs is being replaced and we understand the new one should be opening Summer of 2020 with vastly enhanced facilities, ideas are already bouncing around, details to follow when they are available.
Wrath of Con is coming in April at the Jefferson Barracks Visitors Center. Tim is the contact on this even game day.

Voting & The Census: As some of you are aware another of my hobbies is genealogy (the fine art of looking for dead relatives). I have been lucky in some areas of the family tree and less so in others as is common, but two tools have been of great help to me and many others involved in the pursuit of their family histories are Census and Voter Registration Records. As we all are aware it is an election year and as we end a decade it is also time for a census of the country. Without wandering into any political discussions, I would ask you to help future generations of genealogists who are looking back at this time & place trying to piece together the family tree to be sure you are registered to vote and to complete your census form when it comes to you shortly.
