As the title says, I want to find a nice range of METAL figures. I was interested in doing the Peninsula, as well as the Austrian – Bavarian skirmishes. What would be a good range of figures for that in metal. I do not want to assemble plastic figures.

TIA

Brigade & Perry +1! Old Glory for value.

Thanks guys! I tended to start thinking of Perry in terms of plastic. Thanks for the reminder they have metal. Very nice figures and affordable, given the scope of what I would be doing.

You can save a lot of $ going with their plastics and the figures are good and easy to assemble too. I found that with plastics you spend the prep time assembling – with metals you spend that same amount of time (or more) cleaning the flash off of them.

I agree with Coopman about the preparation time . Sometimes a little filling is needed as well for plastics. I think some of the Perry plastics are better than good . The new French infantry set is fantastic and the Chassuers French cavalry I think are outstanding . Just my view.
