Squad of WWII infantry in a fox hole, enemy got to move first. They moved a tank with a trailing squad of their infantry right over the fox hole. Wasn't pretty. |

Me: – I had the equivalent of rolling ones on 5 of 6d6 defeat my uberunit that had a roughly 16:1 force ratio against the opponent's force (DOM). DOM: – Rolled six ones (critical misses that cause own force damage) in a row on her turn and ended up winning both the match and the tournament. SOM: – Obliterated SWMBO's force to less than 5% in the first two rounds of engagement. Went on to lose the game to harass and fall back tactics. SWMBO: – Needed five consecutive sixes on the last roll of the game for her last unit to survive an attack and destroy the objective, winning the game. She actually said "Yahtzee!". So … lady luck favors the ladies? |

Friend of mine playing an Age of Sail game fired a broadside, two turns in, at long range, no damage to the enemy. He had to roll to check for any misfires. There were, to make a long sad story short, he misfired, started a fire that got to his magazine, blew up him and his flagship, the rest of the squadron turned and ran. yahoo |
