The idea behind this Chain of Command game was a German attempt to slip around the lines of defending Soviet Naval troops outside of Sevastopol. The Russians rush a unit to their flank to stem the maneuver and keep the high ground. I used the Swift to Support scenario from Blitzkrieg book. Jon was the defending Soviets and he could not get any support til Turn 2. No armor, arty or entrenchments, but plenty of hard cover to set up in. Superb AAR, Mark. Another amazing job! Figures, terrain, scenario, and pics/story telling all come together. A feast for the imagination.

I bet it was a fun and challenging game, too. But if I was playing, I'd probably have been so focused on the exceptional levels of modelling on display that I doubt I would have played my best. It'd be like trying to play chess in a movable championship diorama.

It's always a pleasure to see your postings…
