Is there a visual collection of what units wore what type of grenadier headdresses for the period 1660-1690s? For the English army if nothing else? Dutch, Danish etc if there's a source for those too. |

Well, aside from the fact that it sounds like youre suggesting I get Funcken :), those books start at about 1700. I need earlier. But thanks for the recommendation, those are great books. |

The books that were published by the Pike & Shot Society and written by David Hall and others, show sveral great pictures of uniform and headdress of all troops of a regiment including Grenadiers. the books concentrate on the Nine Years War from 1688-1697. Helion are publishing a series of books on the wars of Louis XIV and include several nices pictures including grenadiers. |
