I regret I cannot reference the genious who suggeted using your dirty paint water as a wash, but I can confirm it is both excellent and cheap.

To avoid as much painting, I printed some new suppression markers for use in the Mancave to save hauling all the gear up 2 floors. They were great but a bit too bright an orange and could be too distracting. However just washing them in dirty paint water has toned them down, it's quick, easy and free. Will it last? Perhaps not but as they get used I and assuming that sweaty hands and general grime will replace the wash where it maight rub off.

Go on try it you know you want too.

Wounders? Genious?

Yes, good spelling is reserved for powerful magic users!

Been doing that for about 40 years even when we used enamel paints; instead of 'dirty water' we used 'dirty turps'.

You should varnish them when dry.

If you've been using metallics, beware! You'll get sparkles in your wash. grin

My paint water is usually too green or light to make a good wash.
