I just thought I'd share some photos of my 15mm Australian Primeval project. I still need to finish off some of the terrain.


I have some gum and mallee trees which still need finishing off along with some scrub and a billabong and guest.

Captain, they are Bullockornis or as they are otherwise referred to Demon Ducks of Doom

Here is breakdown of the miniatures and critters used –
Denisovans – 15mm QRF Koori
Dingoes – Kerroby Pewter Models
Thylacine – Essex Miniatures Inca War Dogs
Thylacaleo – Eureka Miniature 10mm Lioness
Diprotodon – A mix of plastic toy animals with a bit of hacking and carving.
Genyornis – Airfix HO/OO Zoo Animal converted Emu
Procoptodon – Airfix HO/OO Zoo Animal Kangaroo (I still need to work on the face)
Megalania – MY Minitures
Bullockornis – MY Miniatures
Small Ancient Rodent like Killer Kangaroo – MY Miniatures
Quinkana – Safari Good Luck Miniature
Wonambi – Safari Good Luck Miniature (not pictured)

Lots of sources I had not seen before.
I love the creativity of this stuff.

Too bad that Airfix (or Hat) is not making the Zoo Animals right now.
