"From the early 1950s until 2009, a department in the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence (MoD) documented and investigated reports of UFOs. Now, more than a decade after the program ended, many of those formerly classified files about UFO sightings will be made available to the public for the first time. Previously, some MoD files about UFOs had been published online at the U.K. National Archives website, The Telegraph reported. However, all of the agency's UFO reports will be released this year on "a dedicated gov.uk web page," a spokesperson for the British Royal Air Force (RAF) told The Telegraph…" Main page link Amicalement Armand

Missed the RAF Woodbridge event in 1980 by less than 2 weeks. We often roamed the woods there at night, was creepy without aliens. |

On some of those alien/UFO shows on the History and Travel I like to watch, they talk about this and other "classified" releases of information. I still think much is still very much classified … |

Isn't Nick Pope of Ancient Aliens a former MoD officer? |

That should be interesting. Hope to see info about their fighter/interceptor encounters with them. |

I would take anything Nick Pope says with a massive pinch of salt. Come to think of it, same as everybody on Ancient Aliens. Edited to to increase the size of salt pinch 😉 |

14Bore…was it the doggers that made it creepy? |
Legion 4 | 11 Feb 2020 3:24 p.m. PST |
Yes Nick Pope was with the MoD. The series has a lot former gov't officials, Military, scientists, etc. I find it all very interesting. But I do love Sci-fi too[NOT SyFY!]. However, I think there is some truth to some of the events, etc., that are portrayed. Some of the others … not so much … So until a UFO(s) land on the WH lawn. I'm keeping an open mind. |

I always wondered how he could get away with plundering his department's filing cabinet for personal enrichment without attracting the attention of ‘the management'. Could it be he's just peddling fantasy and codswallop…? The truth is out there… |

Yes … you took the words I was about to post, The Truth is out There … I as well as most, don't doubt there is not only other life existing out in the galaxy, but in our universe. And some of this life is "intelligent". And let's not go up the road to the Multi-verse theories! Regardless, again, I'm keeping an open mind. Are some in the UFO, aliens, Bigfoot, Paranormal, etc., type of TV, in books, etc., not being truthful? Well I think we all know what P.T. Barnum said. That being said, even Hynek who started out as a "disbeliever". And still couldn't deny that there was about 5% or so of those sightings, etc. he could not explain. He changed his mind … So who am I to completely dismiss this ? |
