I always enjoy your DBA accounts ( I like the strict use of historical opponents and context) even though I don't really like DBA as a game. They're always entertaining accounts. Do you think the Numidians could have got a win without very favourable dice? You might want to correct "In 112 AD, Jugurtha resumed his war" to "In 112BC …" Cheer, John |

@ Bobgnar, Thank you for the kind words. @ John Edmundson, The Numidians certainly smelled victory in game two and that would explain the sudden rush of "optimism", such that they slackened their effort (low pip scores). If Baal had been kind to the Numidian, they most certainly would have handed Rome another embarrassment. I will correct the date, thank you. Cheers, Robert |
