I'd love to know how the driver managed that one. Were they backing up when they did it, maybe? I can see a couple of ways to wind up on those steps right side up and maybe one other way to get it there upside down--but only with the turret low rather than high. |

Backing in, slowly, from left to right. They then tried to elevate the gun to lever themselves back up. Didn't seem to work very well. |

From what I could find it's a T-34/85 that crashed into the entrance of the metro station at Alexanderplatz in Berlin in 1945. No idea how it came about or if this was before or after the fighting. |
