Hi everyone,

I am posting this information to share that may be of interest. I have inquired about Blue Moon Manufacturing Highway and Byways sold by Old Glory. There are 17 vehicles in this listing. All of them are noted as "out of stock". From e mail exchange it is my understanding that the molds all need to be redone. It appears they will be available again at some undeclared future date.

It is also my understanding they are scale wise compatible with Sloopy Jalopy vehicles. The interwar range from Sloopy Jalopy is 1/48th scale, and their website indicates more trucks and gangster cars are coming soon.

Actually, 1:56 and 1:64 are the PERFECT scales for 28mm figures.

And these are available in nearly infinite variety at less than half--often much less--the price of the lead models. That they come pre-painted and ready for immediate use is another not small advantage.

Look for "Days Gone" listings at E-Bay and be pleasantly amazed.

What TVAG said !!

1/48th is hugely too big for 28mm figures.
