Hi All:

My local club have played quite a few games of R&P, and I developed a custom QRS/Roster for our game. You can download a copy here:

Please note our club plays , large, multi-player games mostly and so we introduced two house rules:

1) Every unit takes an extra hit/disruption
2) Double Time: Like a move activation, but a foot unit may move double speed, or triple speed and pick up an activation. Mounted may move double only. Until next activated, if fired at 1 hit = 1 casualty.

Many thanks. What do you mean by large and multiplayer? I am aiming for the same, so I just wanted to understand to hiw many units and players your house rules are meant for

Valerio, the rules have a small section about playing multiplayer games on a 6'x4' table with each playing taking their own company of 24 points (a standard size amount for a game), usually with one side activating and then the other.

Hi guys, we had a chance to give the rules of Rebels & Patriots a try. 2 quick games. It was just a couple of 24 vs 24 points encounters of Nap French vs Russians.

Even with such small forces it felt a little bit slow so I guess extra Crispy's advice on extending the length of the unit's movement(speed) might be a good idea. I don't think I will go the full 2x or 3X but I will consider 1.5x e.g. Line Infantry going 9" instead of 6" and Light Cavalry 18" instead of 12". I will try this next time.

It is also true that units can be wiped out faster than expected so I will consider the extra "hit" option too. How does this work Extra Crispy, 3 hits to break and 4 to be routed? what is to be in peril? how does it affect a unit?

Thanks, cheers!
