They look great. Well done! |

Looks good overall, but I particularly like that you've had the vehicles chew up the terrain that they've crossed. That's a nice detail. |

As the other guys have said too – well done! You've captured motion in your vehicle tracks and positioning, as well as with your infantry skirmish lines. The flocking looks as it's a surface application, but conveys cover w/o looking unnatural – and the basing textures look like they blend well on your game board. Looking forward to seeing some AARs with these. |

Thanks guys! I am pretty happy with how the bases turned out. Now on to the Panzer Division… |

How did you do the infantry figures? Stock infantry or something else? |

@skirmishcampaigns: For figures I use the out fo the bix Soviet Infantry from Pico Armor: link I supplement them with WW1 Russians, because I had some and I like the way the Maxim Teams look (sitting up versus prone) link Hard to see from the picture, but I tired to differentiate between the SMG and Rifle companies. The SMG companies have no heavy weapons and are deployed more in a rough skirmish line in the middle of the base, while the Motor Rifle troops are deployed more in depth and have at least 2 or 3 heavy weapons (Maxim or A/T Rifle) per base. When I roll this out for conevntions, I am going to print up a small unit label with the unit designations (ie 1/10 Guards Tank Brigade) and unit type. |
