I've begun research into camo measures for US ships, and I'm trying to find more specific data on what each ship's camo was during each period of time. Specifically, I'm looking for: Washington North Carolina New Orleans Astoria Minneapolis (general) Gridley and Fletcher-class During mid-late 1942. I'm seeing various pictures where it seems like they swapped around often: B&W photos with a basic measure (11 or 12, I imagine), but then images of the Minneapolis with Measure 8 in 1942, for example. Are there any good resources to show what those camo schemes were at each time/battle? |

You can get collections for individual ships at Naval History and Heritage Command, here link So determine the scheme from link, and then go to link to look for an example of that scheme on a specific ship. MH |
