If like me you base your troops on steel bases, sheet magnet can be your best friend. We play To the Strongest at my club and to help set up, speed play, and minimize table clutter I made some sheet magnet movement trays for our games. Here is a quick tutorial on all the components: link Easily adapted to any other rule set with big units (Grande Armee, Impetus, Volley & Bayonet etc.)

Good stuff. Thanks for posting. Simon also sells chits that replace the cards. I like them and they're less obtrusive than the cards would be. |

I've thought about chits too. Sadly, the gent who has all the big armies is moving away so we'll probably have to retire this rule set for big games. Everyone else has smaller DBA style armies. |
