I know that Osprey has it's own forum for discussing these sorts of things but they changed it a couple years ago so you have to pay to post and I'm quite technologically challenged and the new forum is hard to navigate through. I used to be a poster there in 2012-2014 and would often pitch out ideas for books in their Campaign series which is my favorite of all their series. I am aware users on here have discussed their books and probably a good amount own some, and in fact some people on that forum probably also have accounts here on TMP. I want to pitch out ideas for books I have wanted them to do for years and spread them beyond just Osprey. Please note I suggested all of these at one point or another years ago and I am just curious to see if these titles interest anyone since Osprey may look beyond their website for ideas for future publications. This list is quite long but IMHO these titles are seriously in need of treatment from Osprey both for their importance or the fact that nothing else has been written on them. Osprey has done books in their CAM series that was the first time a battle or campaign got a book of it's own such as the battle of the Wabash in 1791. So here it goes. Carrhae 53 BC Mohacs 1526 Breitenfeld 1631 Nordlingen 1634 Wittstock 1636 Narva 1700 Lauffeld 1747 Hochkirch 1758 Kunersdorf 1759 Panipat 1761 Bushy Run 1763 Russo-Turkish War 1768-74 Second Mysore War 1780-83 Eutaw Springs 1781 Russo-Turkish War 1787-92 Third Mysore War 1789-92 Valmy 1792 Fleurus 1794 Arcole and Rivoli 1796-97 Ireland 1798 Haiti 1802-03 Eylau 1807 Friedland 1807 Bailen 1808 Zaragoza 1808-09 France 1814 Horseshoe Bend 1814 Greek War of Independence 1821-29 Ayacucho 1824 Black Hawk War 1832 Second Seminole War 1835-42 Palo Alto 1846 Monterrey and Buena Vista 1846-47 Mexico City 1847 Second Sikh War 1848-49 Wilson's Creek 1861 Dakota War 1862 Puebla 1862-63 Stones River 1862 Cold Harbor 1864 Red Cloud's War 1866-68 Sedan 1870 Mukden 1905 Tannenberg 1914 Kharkov 1943 Dien Bien Phu 1954 Fallujah 2004 |

I forgot to add Koniggratz 1866 to this list. One of the biggest battles in European history and 19th cent, and one of the most important. Like I said, this list is a doozer. |

Der Alte Fritz, Minden would be a big gap filled, but my area of interest is SYW Frederick the Great battles and the FIW. I'm not interested in seeing it which is why I don't have it on my list. |

I'm good with the entire list except for the last one. I have zero interest in anything after the 1950s. |
