Moria vs Misty Mountain Goblins:

I never did like the Moria goblin models but I did like the Moria stats in the original SBG. When the hobbit movie came out I hated the way the Misty Mountain goblins were portrayed, but I did like the models. So I built my Misty Mountain goblin army based on the book (not the movie)

The question becomes how do I play them in the new Middle Earth SBG? I decided to use my Misty Mountain goblin figures and using the Moria goblin army list from MESBG.

Here are some pictures of my army, I am adding goblin archers by adding a bow and quiver to the models shown. My goblins are green and not pale white.

Very reasonable approach. A lot of people who say they are doing by the book wouldn't make them green, but no real problem there.

I've had to go looking for shields some, too. I ended up making some out of layered cardstock for my undead, which are the warriors of Dunharrow done in non-ghostly fashion. They aren't intended to represent those guys.

Thanks for sharing.
