Howdy all , There is a factory selling 25/28 or 30 mm figurines of Roman hastati in muscle – cuirass (Or figurines that look like them) as illustrated plate C in the M.A.A. 291 or plate 1 in the SELEUCID AND PTOLEMAIC REFORMED ARMIES 168-145 BC.VOLUME 1: THE SELEUCID ARMY by Nick Secunda? Thank you, Paskal |

The Victrix Republican Roman boxed sets have several figures that have the muscle cuirass. My readings, however, seem to suggest that entire units did not have that armor, but who knows? No known records exist as far as I know about which legions had which armor types during that period. |

You could try Aventine RR20 – sold as principes, but no real difference: "The pack will contain a random mix of the four different armours ie triple disc, large pectoral, square pectoral, and cuirass. If you would prefer a particular mix just let us know and it will get sorted." That suggests they'd do them all in cuirass if you asked nicely. I can't think of any others. |
