Just before Christmas we played a game of IABSM to try out the rules as a group. It was a fictional scenario set in the aftermath of the Battle of Slim River when the Japanese forces were running riot in the Allied rear areas. Have a read of the battle report here: link

Nice AAR and while a fictional battle a fairly historical result given the Japanese successes in Malaysia in 1942 |

Thanks, yes, so far 99% of our Malaya games have ended this way. There's been a couple of surprises though. |

Thanks, we have only just begun playing with IABSM and I have the Malaya handbook, which I will be using for the other scenarios. However, we were playing the Malaya campaign using Rapid Fire and Michael A Sayce's campaign guide for that. You can see some of the older AARs if you click here: link |
