My next-door neighbor was an Iwo Jima veteran, Marine, just died a few days ago at the age of 97. It wasn't just Marines at Iwo, though -- I have a friend who was there in the Sea Bees, driving a Caterpillar tractor.

@donlowry – Good point. It wouldn't hurt to remember any veteran on Valentines Day. Our cards will say "we love you for your service to the country".
