I've never come across a book detailing Army Group A's operations in the Caucasus area before falling back. Anyone know of one? It's referenced in all the books I've got on the Eastern front but with no real detail. I'm guess Glantz has one that will probably go into exhaustive detail as per usual!

There is this: The Caucasus 1942–43: Kleist's race for oil
It is by these two cats: Robert Forczyk and Steve Noon

I honestly only got through part of it. Not that there was anything wrong with it. It was more "ohh Shiny" moment. --found Last Levy of 25/235 from Goldap.

Thanks mate. Just finishing "On a Knifes Edge" by Mr Buttar. Does cover the withdrawal phase a bit with Manstein trying to keep the door open for them. Good read anyway.
