Work continues on the 1:700th collection of ships with three French 74's added in time for the Xmas break, and my first gunflash markers completed to compliment this range of models.

They look nice. These transparent bases are very elegant.

You guys are making it a lot harder for me to keep my Age of Sail gaming focused on 1/1200 scale.

Yes I am having a hard time working on several small 1/1200 ships after rigging up these 1/700 scale ships!! Cmon Warlord release some more ships already!!

Hi chaps,
Thanks for your comments.
I have a large collection of 1:1200 models myself, but I really love the extra detail on this larger scale and think they would pay dividends with lots of models on a really big table.

Julian – Thank you, the clear rounded bases were a decided change away from squared off rectangular sea bases, especially in this scale and with sea mats that can do a great job showing through the bases.

Jim – yes I've been Tangoed a few times in the past, but it looks like this time the post was pulled.

Happy New Year
JJ
