All, I've been reading this book on my Kindle. It is a great read, loaded with scenario ideas. I would like to find some images of "Fort Page", so that I can build at least a portion of it. It occurs to me that the hard copy of the book may have photos. Can anyone provide any? |

Bing West's The Village is one of my all time faves on the Vietnam War. I think my paperback copy does have photos. Away at the moment…I'll check on that later. |

Found one very tiny pic online…doesn't really show much of the "fort":
A bit larger, but blurry (and you prob have to have a subscription to fold3 to view) fold3.com/image/310985224 |

Another good book along that line is Platoon Leader. There was a movie made by the same name. The are some great sets including a fortified small unit base camp that is really worth seeing. |

If you are interested in the CAP/CACs mission there is a whole VN Studies publication on it, as well as some great websites. I've had the pleasure of interviewing a couple of CAP/CAC members and will be making a supplement to FNG:Unconventional Warfare on the subject in the near future. |
