In another thread someone mentioned Alcibiades, a truly colorful individual. Do your players emulate his two sided prowess?
I once watched a historian on TV refer to him as the William Jefferson Clinton of the ancient age, causing me to chuckle a bit. |

Back in the day, under WRG 3rd and 4th ED, I knew a guy (nicknamed as "Big Phil", as we already had a "Little Phil" and "Other Phil" – true!) who always played Mongol/Hun. He was a decent player but got bored easily. At some point in a multiplayer game he would ask whomever he was fighting for something to make him change sides. It could be an in game thing like victory points or an out of game thing like an extra can of beer or slice of pizza. If you knew it was coming you sometimes hold it off by grabbing his interest. Send some of his forces off on a side quest/action, pass him the beer/pizza yourself. But, at that point things got messy. :) |

In the 70's & 80's few women were playing miniature games in my area & if one was interested there was always a dude who was eager to "mentor" her which none of them appreciated. |
