Hello: I'm working on a campaign background and want to overlay hexes on existing maps and/or satellite photos. Does anyone know how to do this, preferably within PowerPoint?? Thank you!

I've only done it in PhotoShop. I made a layer of the hexes and put the layer above the map layer. I don't know if PowerPoint has layers but I would recommend using a program that does. Cheers! Gallo |

DrawHexGrid is a Windows utility for creating all types of hex grid images painlessly. Hex grids can be any size, in vertical or horizontal orientation, in any combination of colors, and using 1 of 6 common hex numbering systems. Grids may be anti-aliased, in 1 of 9 line thicknesses, with or without center markers. "Sideless Hexes" may be created. The program can be downloaded here: link Alex Henderson I use this program all the time. Terry |

PS layer for sure … easiest method (even for PPT … just export IMG appropriately). Why PPTb, if you don't mind me asking? PS files can be imported into PPT NP. |

@T Callahan – Holy crap there is some great stuff on that site. Thank you for sharing it. When I was playing Heroscape 10 years ago, I used the Photoshop method. It was great then because I had access to a plotter and could make really big maps (for free). :) Thank you for sharing the site, sir. |
