"Double Barrel Cannon… That just sounds awesome. Doesn't it? There are double barrel pistols, double barrel rifles, double barrel shotguns… But none of those sound as impressive as the double barrel cannon…" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

This would be great for Victorian Science Fiction games, particularly VSF American Civil War games using the GASLIGHT rules. Since it was a one off, hence probably wouldn't be economical for a manufacturer, perhaps somebody could write up a how to article for The Workbench. Grelber |

What a great find. If I had not seen it with my own eyes….even then I keep thinking this is a spoof, but must stop being so sceptical about this Internet thing. Tango's finest! Just one of these a day justifies the rest. Any more is a bonus. |

As someone who fires Civil War ear artillery, including with 'live rounds' at shooting competitions, this is one of the stupidest ideas I've seen. |

Well it was nice to see the part of the article that confirmed exactly what I thought would happen, did in fact happen! Guess we all know why the inventor was a Private in a Militia unit. |

Possibly one of the dumbest weapons of the war. Just as likely to kill your own troops as the enemy. |
