Hello, I have lost all my old Citadel/Games Workshop plastic shields with large holes in the middle. Does any other manufacturer sell plastic shields with the boss holes in the middle? |

If you can't find any, you can always cut off the Boss and use a shield without the hole |

Or use a small drill to make a hole on the shield. Any of these solutions ain't exactly what you could call rocket science… :) |

You can get metal ones from Old School Miniatures, but it's not the cheapest solution. link |

Baconfat, I have some shields with holes that are about 3mm, are these the ones you are looking for? Mostly round plain. Contact me @ RNGAMER@ATT.NET Paul |

You could cut the boss off and use a shield with no hole. |

Wargames Foundry also produces metal shields with holes in the centre to go with their ex-Citadel ranges. |

Thanks everyone, I'll look into Old School and Foundry. If my whimsy isn't pleased I'll try the drilling or boss trimming. Zulu Paul, I'll measure the holes and email you if it's a match. Two boxes of Prince Ulthar's dwarves and a bunch of other old Citadel models will eventually have their shields! v/r, Baconfat |

Regarding the Foundry products, those shields are not listed on their "Weapons and shields" section of the website, so you would probably need to contact them specifically. |
