I've seen black and white photo's of this event loads of times. All the participants and spectators in jackets and ties, looking very serious. Well it was nearly 55 years ago! Sobering thought, I was only fourteen at the time! |

Anyone know what figures they used in 1965? I am not sure what was available. Were there any Minifigs or was it strictly Scruby? |

The AAR on the link says the majority were Hinton Hunt which fits with the lone picture and my recollection of other photos and descriptions I have seen over the years. |

I actually played against Carl Reavley in a Waterloo relight at Staines in the mid 80s. It was *ahem* an experience…. |

Hi, sorry I've come late to this topic.I was there as a young kid and have managed to keep the guide which they gave out at the show, although it was called a Military Festival rather than wargame. It listed all the commanders , a forward by Don Featherstone, and the rules which took up all of 5 pages. |

Monty1815, is there any chance you could publish, or at least tell us more about, the rules that were used? |
