The latest quarterly edition of Hallowed Ground is out on the internet: link
This is produced by the National Battlefield Trust, a charity which originally raised money to buy odd bits of land where American Civil War battles were fought, rather than let developers cover the battlefields with 7-11s, Walmarts, and casinos. In the past few years, they've extended their mandate to include battlefields from the American Revolution and the War of 1812. This month's issue has a story (with maps) about the battles of Freeman's Farm and Bemis Heights in 1777.

These people are doing great work. There are a couple of two war battle fields that should never be touched and these people have made it their mission to protect them.
