I'm looking for pics and scale comparisons of two sets from Old Glory – the Swiss pike from their Italian Wars range, and the Flemish Pike from their Wars of The Roses range. I want to work out if they would scale well with Perry Miniatures, with the intention of scattering a few of them throughout larger Perry pike blocks (which already have a few Foundry Swiss in then). I understand they might be a bit shorter than the Perrys. So are Foundry, but they still work together (the Foundry Swiss, NOT the Foundry WOTR which are much smaller). If anyone has any scale pics of them side by side, that would be awesome. I'm able to find a fair ammount of pics of the Swiss painted through google, but I've only been able to find ONE set of relatively close up pics of the Flemish. The pics on the Old Glory site are next to useless. On top of this, they only come in packs of 30… If I could just order half a dozen of each I'd do it straight away!!!! |

I have some OG IW Swiss pike. The only Perry minis I have to compare them to (period-wise) is the old Foundry ECW minis, which I think are pretty darn close to "modern" Perrys. You really only need a half-dozen? Armored or unarmored, or both? |
