Please see link for an AAR of a Nuts! Final Edition game, in which a raw British battalion is suddenly confronted by an unexpected threat…

Interesting scenario and great after action report, thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more.

Interesting game. Did you play this solo? If so, how did you handle so many figures?

I hope you don't mind, I've re-posted this to the NUTS! section of the Two Hour Wargames forum. If you'd rather me delete that thread, let me know and I will do so. Btw, there is a 4-part NUTS! campaign book series in the works providing more detail, army lists and campaign options from 1939-1945 for Europe (WTO and ETO books), North Africa (1940-1943) and the PTO. There is an Arras 1940 scenario included in the WTO book.

Many thanks both, appreciated it.

@Nick,

Yes, I played it solo, Nuts! has mechanisms for handling it. Now that said, I think Nuts! is a better game with a section/squad per side rather than a platoon and there are certain mechanisms that I…don't change, but shorten. So I use the rifle groups and gun groups as relatively indivisible at this level, for example, to make it a bit quicker.

No, not at all, you are very welcome. There are more Nuts! things scheduled, you are free to re-post any or all of it. I think veteran Nuts! players might find it an interesting challenge to try and somehow save more of the Brits (or take the town?!?! that is Epic-level stuff…)
