I had to look up the definition of euro game. It says unlike traditional US board games, euro games rely less on luck. So by that definition I'm inclined to give them a chance. |

Yes. From 0 (not interested) to 10 (love 'em!). Depends on the game. |

9. I participate in local board game meetups and cons. I also love Ameritrash games, CCGs, and LCGs. |

While I do enjoy some hobby boardgames, the more strongly "euro" style games tend to severely limit player interaction (or sometimes lack interaction entirely, essentially becoming "multi-player solitaire" games) which I find profoundly uninteresting. They also tend to lack any meaningful connection between the theme and the mechanics, so, zero. |

3 for me. I'll play 'em for the social aspects around the table, but don't put too much emphasis on winning. The folks who invite me to play are the ones who have played many times and have worked out their perfect build strategy long in advance. |

Since I don't know what "eurogame" is. I'm gonna say 0. |

0-7, depending on the game. Like in all gaming genres, there are some excellent games and a lot of duds. I still don't appreciate any of them as much as a good wargame, so there is a lower ceiling on my Eurogame enthusiasm. - Ix |

1-9 depending on the game. I'm not just talking about game quality. There are a lot of flavors. Some I find tedious, some are great. And there are great and terrible games in each flavor. Okay, 8. |

If we don't plan ahead to play a military style game, or can't agree on one- we play Settlers of Cattan, or Vinci- still good after many years. |

Generally very high – 8 to 10. But not all are winners. They do deserve some recognition of helping the hobby as a whole when it struggled. They also help to pay the bills for a lot of brick and mortar stores. For new players, they are great gateway games to other things. |

Gotta agree with Gunfreak, are Eurogames anyway? They sound decidedly unwholesome, kinda like the German flu. |

8 Women play these games. Social and fun. A change from charging to victory or defeat. |
