Is inexpensive superglue just as good as the more expensive brand? |

I have not noticed otherwise….other advantage is I am less concerned about trying to eke every last drop out. At Bunnings I can buy multiple tubes for less than one brand name product. Smells the same and sticks my fingers together just as well…… |

Haven't noticed a difference either. Currently have Gorilla gel superglue and Loctite Precision. But I've not been overly impressed with any superglues when it comes to metal minis in the first place (even with pinning). |

I can tell a real difference. Gorilla Glue superglue is worth the extra dollar. |

Probably. But, for me, it's about ease of application so I'll pay more (Loctite Gel CA). |

I think I tried cheaper superglue way back but like others said, once I tried the loctite supergel with the applicator it has I won't use anything else simply for the precision it offers. |

Same. I only use the Loctite gel. |

While some glues may be inferior, I have found that a more important factor tends to be the type of container. I have purchased glues from the same company but in different types of container and some certainly dry out faster and/or become stuck and impossible to open without destroying the container. Others on the other hand I can use off an on for a year or more. |

I use Loctite gel also. It works for me on metal and plastic. Never had a problem. Less glue on the fingers than the liquid superglue. |

I use Krazy Glue, now available at the 99 Cent store for, you guessed it, 99 cents. I've been using this brand consistently since the 1980s. |

I always buy the smallest possible tubes of superglue, because once the tube has been opened, the glue will eventually dry out. |

There is a difference, usually concentration. I use Loctite which is good. Gorilla is also good, maybe a bit better even. Stay away from Crazy brand and especially any generic |

3gram Tubes of Loctite superglue ultragel can be obtained for £1.00 GBP at Home Bargains in the UK |

I did't find the cheap glue I have bought (5 tin tubes for $5 USD) was worth it. At least the ones I bought were single use as the tube dried out after being opened no matter how careful I was. I prefer the gel and usually buy a larger container than I see in the dollar stores anyway. |
