Having had a game with these rules at Fall In, and looked them up to read more about it, wonder if they would work for solo games.
Any thoughts?

There's nothing about them that's specifically aimed at solo gamers. For instance, there is no A.I. You still make all the decisions and must have all the information about both sides to input into the program.

That being said, since the program calculates all combat, morale, etc. as you've got no opponent to help keep track of things, it is , in the broadest sense, helpful for solo players.

I've played a lot of C&G solo and find they work well. As pointed out there's no AI, but that's true for the vast majority of solo miniature play. I would recommend them.
