The game is set quite shortly after revenge of the Sith, before Solo.
You play as a Padiwan in hiding as the Empire continues to hunt down any jedi alive. After being discovered you go hunting for an ancient force sensitive race.

The game is basically part Dark souls, part castylvania. The levels are like mazes, as you explore you unlock short cuts, so you can get to parts of the map faster. At various places on the levels you have meditation spots. You use these to use the skills points you've gotten. And also to replenish life and life stims. However when you replenish health. All none boss enemies respawn. If you die you loose all experience points you've gotten up to the next skill point. You can grty5 the XP back by going to the enemy that killed you and hitting him/it. Once the XP bar is filled you get a skill point, and you don't loose skills points you've acquired.

For those that have played souls games or the new Sakiro game. You know how it works.

Unlike the souls games you have 4 difficulty setting. So it's far easier than the souls games, on easy or medium settings.

There is also the castylvania part were you get skills separate from the skill tree. Like force push/pull. And the little droid that helps you also get upgrades. That does stuff like hacking doors, and enemy droids.

So even on the first planet you're on, parts of it is inaccessible until you unlock stuff.

There seems to be far less bosses in this game than souls games. In like 8 hours of playing I've met 3 proper bosses.

You get stuff to customize your light saber.

The combat is cool, a mix dodges, blocks and various attacks. Timing blocks sends blaster bolts back to the sender. Or timing mele blocks leaves the enemy open for massive damage.

I play on easy/medium. As someone how can't stand the souls games, were I avoid combat as I die all the time. Where I feel I never get anywhere. Easy/medium is a great difficulty level. You can die quick, and some enemies are annoying. And you will get stuck a few times on some mini buses. But it's not like dark souls were you need to do a boss 50 times to learn everything.

This is definitely the best jedi game in ages, they've managed the mix of making the game and enemies hard. You also making you feel like a badass jedi/Padiwan.

Can I play it with my existing miniatures, Gunfreak?

It should be obvious it's a consol/computer game. Given it's also posted in media
