Today I add another of my works at scale 1/1200. This time is a first part of a danish fleet, formed by:

ODIN. 74 guns
DANMARK. 74 guns
INDFODSRETTEN. 66 guns
HIELPEREN. Frigate of 40 guns

Brian, I use ochre but after I apply a wash of darck red. The wash is very diluted with water. That way I add a slight reddish hue to the ocher.

Does anyone have a good source for the calibre of guns carried by each Danish ship? I've got the list of ships and total number of guns but it's proving difficult to find further detail.
